After the Rain

It's finally rained here on the Wet Coast. We even had a thunderstorm yesterday; which is very rare for Vancouver - we don't usually have the humidity for it.

The rain has done wonders for our gardens; the one on the patio, the street garden, and the Mole Hill Community Garden. Everything has come to life - mostly - with the rain came the final death of the poppies I planted in May.

I planted some herb cuttings this morning - marjoram, thyme - in containers on the patio. It'll be interesting to see if they take. The tarragon I planted last week is thriving.
